Fire Drill practice for the Elementary, Junior, & Senior High School
Today we had the Fire Drill practice for the Elementary, Junior, & Senior High students.
The alarm went off, and the staff announced that there was a fire. Students immediately began evacuating. Some through the windows onto the balcony so not all classes used the same staircase.
Some students used a different gate to get to the evacuation site.
All students gathered in the yard. The teachers took attendance. Then the elementary school Principal spoke to the students about fire safety.
Students then returned to their rooms to take the afternoon lessons.
It was a smooth operation, but in the future, we will work on evacuating more quickly to improve the safety.
